Today marked the opening of former president Trump's second impeachment trial. Today also marks the launch of an inspiring new documentary film called
The Reunited States. (full disclosure - we helped produce the film!)
It is perhaps ironic that the film's invitation to bridge reaches American on the same day that our cable news screens depict such a dogged political fight.
What we believe: America needs fighters. It also needs bridgers.
As Americans, we seem to have mastered the "fighting" side of the equation. Can we now develop comparable mastery of "bridging?"
In this edition of Depolarize, we explore this tension between fighting and bridging and showcase the people, organizations, and resources working hard every day to empower the political bridge-builders among us. And we pose this challenge to you:
